Home Block Riesling 2021
Compares with the Aspire Riesling, here we see the opposite side of the riesling coin. A class approach is taken and the fruit is up to the job, in dry lime, lemon, green apple and bright, clean, mineral notes. Taut and dry, with good line and length on show and impressive depth to boot – and it’s still early days.

Aspire Pinot Noir 2020
A dark brooding kind of pinot noir. Layers of earth, undergrowth, anise, red berries, violet and baking spices. Loose limbed, it is slowly taking form to reveal a surprising depth of flavour. Sinewy, fine tannins run even through to the finish. This is a wine to savour.

S&G Chardonnay 2020
A complex and most convincing premium Chardonnay, one that rests its charm on a total purity of fruit. Citrus, nectarines, white peach, lime and nashi pear are juicy and forthright on the palate against a subtle nougat, leesy background. Complex, yes, but also super fresh.

Old Pump Shed Pinot Noir 2020
Huge drink-me appeal to this wine. Hits the spot time and time again, with its ripe summer-pudding strawberry, cherry fruits, musk and baking spices with redcurrant bite. Sour-cherry fruits lingering and light, together with taut tannins help define the palate. Sets the tastebuds alight.

Aspire Chardonnay 2020
A pleasure to delve into this super smart Chardonnay. Layers of lemon and citrus fruits, nectarine, flinty mineral elements and grilled nuts across a taut palate. The sherbet-like zest acidity raises the bar, lengthening out the palate with toasty oak wafting through to the finish.
